Meet Dr. Robert Klabunde

Robert Klabunde, DDS, MS

Dr. Klabunde is a long time attendee and graduate of the University of Minnesota (Ski U Mah!). Dr. Klabunde attended the University of Minnesota for not only his undergraduate degree, but also his dental degree as well as his orthodontic training. Dr. Klabunde is a local to the area and was born and raised in Springfield, MN. When Dr. Klabunde was 12 years old, he had his orthodontics completed at SMO and it inspired him to pursue a career in orthodontics. Outside of the change orthodontics can have, Dr. Klabunde enjoys getting to know all of his patients throughout their treatment. 

Education

Dr. K completed his undergraduate education and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Minnesota. Upon graduating from the dental program, he was inducted to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society. He continued at the University of Minnesota to complete his orthodontic residency and Master's of Science.

At Home

When he's not straightening teeth, he enjoys playing golf and the occasional video games. He also enjoys woodworking. Dr. K and his wife are parents to a little girl and their dog Scout.
